J&J vaccine is being investigated regarding blood clot complications in a small number of recipients.  There is a condition called antiphospholipid syndrome aka Hughes Syndrome, that causes mini clots and spontaneous miscarriages.  It is very rare.  I have this condition.  My hypothesis is that some women with this pre-existing syndrome could be susceptible to complications.  I hope that someone who has contacts with J&J vaccine authorities could pass along my hypothesis.

    Iris-

I hope they do. J&J's Janssen Company maintains an 800 number for suspected side and adverse effect reporting? Perhaps you should reach out.

I heard a piece on NPR that was suggesting that perhaps these clotting events were related to the combination of a recessive trait and the use of hormones. The people impacted were women 18-48. Fingers crossed, my niece and her new husband got J&J on Saturday.

    Here's some contact information.
