Wish I’d known of Teepa Snow’s dementia expertise earlier. My husband had the beginning stages of dementia since at least 2007.  Teepa has many educational videos on YouTube to assist caregivers dealing with the challenging behaviors of their affected loved ones. This video addresses caregivers stress level straight out of the gate in their identifying what the “hello” is going on. My high cortisol levels were draining my health. I tried to single handily outsmart and outrun Alzheimers. When it caught up with me I placed my husband in memory care, My advice: Be a human being, not a human doing. Accept the unacceptable. Don’t try to control what is impossible. Let go. Love. Breathe.

Teepa is my favorite, but I also like the dementia careblazers videos. They approach teaching differently, but both are good.
