“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?

Why are You so far from helping Me,

And from the words of My groaning?”

“Our fathers trusted in You;

They trusted, and You delivered them.

5 They cried to You, and were delivered;

They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.”

Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

me: Even if our feelings lie to us and tell us God is indifferent and distant, we will choose to pray and trust Him anyway because through His Holy Word and His Holy Spirit in us we know He continues to love us and give us what we need each day.

Take away: God is faithful!
