Love it Lickety! <hahaha!> Once again you've described it all so perfectly. The spa day and massages remind me of when I took my mom to have a dental exam. It didn't last long because she had a meltdown in the dental chair. For the rest of the day she was shrieking "They tortured me!" But ma, they were only trying to look at your teeth. "You were there! You saw it! They tortured me!"
It's good to hear from you Lickety. Happy Mothers Day to you and your loved ones! Hugs!

Thank you, M1, and LadyZ! I try and pop in a few times a week to help if there's forum posts I think I got suggestions for.
Oh, Basset, I bet you everyone on this forum has a version of our Mother's Day Misery! Your story made me laugh too.

Great to read this story! I'm on the "other foot" here as I am the Mother and all I got from my adult son with EO is nasty complaints all day. After I and a caregiver got him and the dogs to the dog park early, picking up donuts on the way. Decided a little treat was in order so I popped off to the nearest store and got peaches and cream ice cream, pound cake and whipped cream for special sundaes. Which he not only turned away from, but covered his head in his lap blanket. Now, just 2 hours later he is happily eating the fresh cauliflower with cheese on top. That the other caregiver is feeding him. While I have escaped to my bedroom. Ah, Mother's Day!0

LG, it’s so nice to see you post here. How are you all doing? I think of you often. Your “rerun” post made me laugh so thank you!! I’m sorry to say my mom fell a few weeks ago, fractured her right hip, and is now bed bound. Ugh. I am so appreciative for your blog posts, especially right now, I cannot thank you enough. Thank you thank you thank you0
