This sounds really good, and obviously the result of a lot of hard, serious work. I was especially interested in the parts about increasing PCP ability or willingness to help diagnose.

My experience with DHs longtime PCP was bad, PCP would just shrug off or laugh off my concerns, “getting older,” “that’s what guys do,” etc etc. (Seems that’s not unusual, from what I see here.)

Back then I didn’t know about the MMSE, MoCA, Slums, or other tests cited. By the time I did get DH to a specialist, DH was judged late-stage 5. DH could still “showtime” to a degree, and that worked somewhat, but his brain scans were breathtaking with how much was lost.....

Anyway, I still wonder how to get more PCPs to buy in. Dx still takes time.  Most docs I hear from are burdened with “quotas” and mandatory times...the older ones who fought that are leaving in droves, others join groups. Virtually no sole practitioners left in my area. And the hedge funds that are buying so many medical practices everywhere only care about the finances.
