Any advice re: meds?

My mom is in AL and calls me most every day saying she doesn't get her meds. I know they give them to her. We've addressed this issue and they have her initial her calendar each day after she takes them. Now she says that's not her writing. Any one have any ideas on how else to reassure her that she is getting her medications?

I think you are just going to have to reassure her every time that you will certainly address the problem. I

If she calls can you tell her you will call the nurse and make sure it was done?

We put an X on mom’s oversized wall calendar. I would Put a hand size calendar with her or wall calendar in her room with a.m. and p.m. meds pre marked on it so she can check them off herself and have access to see it anytime.  Maybe the nurse could have a special colored pen to use to check them, that doesn’t stay in her room, alleviating random checks.
