LO obsessed with baby doll

I had gotten my Mom a kitten that purrs when you pet it that she really enjoyed. For Mother's Day, I got her a baby doll. She loved it, kissed it, talked to it, and cuddled with it. I got a call from MC. They said Mom has become obsessed with the baby. She won't put it down. She is not eating because she won't put the baby down. She gets angry if the staff tries to hold it for her while she eats. She won't put it in its bed. She is an unsteady walker who needs to use a walker. But she won't put the baby down. I have to find a way to take the baby away. Any suggestions?

How about a baby sling she can wear to put her doll in to free up her hands?0

Or one of those chest carriers that you see parents using when they are out and about? Another idea is a basket for the walker, and set it up with a blanket to make it seem like a baby's bed.0

That is a challenge! Both ideas from above are good, but I think I would vote for the walker basket where she could see the "baby." You could put a pad of sorts in the basket, and it woild be like a stroller - hopefully.
One can find walker baskets very easily; here is a link to Amazon with photos of some of their walker baskets. Best wishes; let us know how it goes.
