I spoke with MIL's 90-year old sister Alma yesterday. She said that MIL has been complaining to her that we (DH and I) never tell her anything so she's always surprised when we go somewhere.

We literally tell her multiple times the day before and the day of...but, of course, MIL simply can't remember. 

I just had to laugh. I guess it's the little things that will see me through.

    That's not so bad. Sometimes my wife of 44 years thinks I'm gay. I have no idea why.
