Ed had mentioned in a recent post that he may need to have some surgery, hopefully he is just recuperating with  no access to a computer.

Thanks everyone for your concern. Joe got it partially right. I have been using a modem that has not been approved by Comcast for about 5 years. It finally happened where I had to upgrade, so no internet service. I ordered a big upgrade online, and when it came I had a little problem getting everything working right. Had to get our son in law over to do his magic. Everything is good now. 

As far as my health goes, it's still about the same. Not great, but manageable. I'll take it. I have been very fortunate with my health for the first 83 years. Hopefully the next 83 will get better.
