I need this shirt.  May 2021 has been hell.  Don’t think June will be any better.

Would wine fill the tank? Asking for a friend.

Fill up the tank? All those folks that are "going" to be helpful actually stepping up.

With the respite stay, I filled the tank. I was patient during …10 days ! Since Saturday patience is lost again and I feel worse than before the respite stay. Now I must try to hold on till the end of July when his brother will welcome him... 2 months

I like wine, but it doesn’t help me.

I don’t know what would help me : real holidays ? Having somebody caring for me ? Having time to do long walks every day ?

For the moment, I just count days till the next respite.

We could recycle our advent calendar with one encouraging word or compliment everyday : «  you are the best », « today you à deserve more chocolate » ...

But instead we get a fortune cookie that says "That wasn't chicken."

I like the advent calendar idea.   When we were kids we wrote things like that on a paper thing we folded and then played chanting games to choose which window to open up.

A friend writes down things that made her happy that day and puts them in a jar.  Once in a while she empties the jar and reads them again.  Little things like "Sunshine on my shoulder"

I hope an addition is ok. I found this on a woodworking site.

I laughed out loud at that. I could use that shirt.

    Patience isn’t my strong suit.

Love the shirt! I swear my late mum sent DH's dementia down to teach me a lesson. She frequently used to say to me "A, patience is not your strongest virtue." And she was right. But boy did I ever have to learn it!
