A new study on prediction of Alzheimer?

    IMO, the problem with AD is that by the time there are diagnostic markers, the damage is already done.  Seminars that I attended about ten years ago promoted the concept of prevention.  I don't hear much about prevention now, but then, I stopped going to the dementia seminars.

    Diagnosis may be difficult because doctors usually overlook signs that may appear BEFORE significant memory loss, such as loss of financial ability or poor driving ability.  Many actual signs are attributed to "just getting old."

    I don't see a solution to this problem.
