Sometimes LOVE is easy. Sometimes LOVE requires sacrifice.

me: What is our reason for being here on earth? What is God's plan and purpose for us? For me it is to seek God and love Him above everyone else, above all else and to love for others as much as I love myself. I can't and no one else can do this alone We must be willing to be transformed so we love like Jesus, but It is Holy Spirit who transforms us and enables us to love God most and love others.

Take away: Ways we cooperate with the work of Holy Spirit: Pray, study the Word and worship and praise the Lord! Gather with other Christians often.

I might add that love costs. Love that has no price is not really love, and that can be demonstrated to us as Christians by the death of Jesus. It cost Him everything, even his life, and the separation ( for a time ) from His Father.

As caregivers, we want to show love to the person we care for, but that comes at a price, as it should. If we give nothing, I believe that the person we care for will know it.

There is no love without sacrifice and no sacrifice without love.

My dad exemplified this daily while loving my mom(who was difficult) for 74 years. The last 15 with Alz. God bless all this journey.
