Hi all,
My DH has been bedbound since late October.  He has ALS & FTD and is non-verbal.  He seems very content but I continue to try to find activities he can do.  Some have been a hit...some not so much.

The best one has been children's writing tablets from Amazon.  They are plastic and use a battery.  They come in different sizes.  He likes the smaller one--maybe because he was used to using an iPad.  It erases by just pressing a button.  I've purchased several of these since they don't last too long.  DH used to be a computer analyst; some of what he's 'drawing' are computer symbols.  It's amazing how complex his drawings are!

Oh, this is awesome to hear! It's so difficult to find activities for when they're awake, and even more difficult to find windows into their thinking at this stage, and you've got both.   Thank you!
