Several posters here suggested Teepa Snow's videos to learn about dementia. VERY helpful, thank you. If you are just beginning this journey, I encourage you to seek out her videos on youtube. She has the ability to bring it down to our level so we can understand and tells us some things no doctor would ever think of.

    Yes, she is my favorite. Not only does she get the point across, but she does it with humor.

    She is outstanding and puts it in simplistic formats it is what allowed me to survive the last 18 to 24 months since the condition has worsened definitely definitely definitely something to share with family as well so they can see her that was my experience it helped extended family understand on some level
