It is one of THOSE days.

My FIL is restless, not sleeping well, and delusional.

My spouse desperately needs time to get some daily tasks finished which have been piling up, as they do.

We are tag-teaming care as usual.

We are both tired.

FIL is having severe memory problems, did not recognize his wife in a photograph that has been in his house since they were married.  She is deceased 20 yrs.

He isn't sure who I am exactly.  But at the same time, he seems to be in good spirits and wanting to help.

It is still exhausting to care for a person in this condition.  I don't regret it, but today it is hard.

Yesterday was hard.

Not having any thoughts about tomorrow.  I try not to do that... : )

Deep breath.  Love your spouse. Watch a sitcom and laugh.  Exercise.  Love your spouse. Share some ice cream.  Buy yourself some flowers.  Love your spouse.  Don't be afraid to cry.  Make a compliment to someone.  Love your spouse.  Make a pizza pie.  Take care of yourself... this disease can take its toll on caregivers.

Jerome likes pie gave you very good advice.  All you can do is your best!  You are wise to not worry about tomorrow.

I truly hope today was better!
