Just read a great quote in one of my grief books...thought I'd share.

"If you're looking for sympathy, you'll find it between sh-- and syphilis in the dictionary"

Whatever gets you thru the nite...LOL

My grandson saw encyclopedias in one of our kids old bedroom.  He asked what's an encyclopedia?  I told him it's like asking google what something is but you have to look it up in the book.  He said "why are there so many books?"  I wonder if he knows what a dictionary is!

My DH just recently insisted on buying a dictionary!!  His thought is that if he picks out words and copies their definition down in a notebook, that he'll "fix" his memory issues.  It keeps him occupied and he thinks he's accomplishing something, so I say good for him.

looking things up in the dictionary will help the brain. My wife will play solitaire on the computer. I found a game that could be set for 1 draw and with a easy setting.

    Well that's an old one.

My parents often used it when I was a kid growing up. They are fortunate that I never embraced it as my mantra when I became a caregiver.
