There’s no way we’d spend $50k/year for a drug that shows such little promise. Just removing plaque isn’t going to make things better.

Over and over again, the drugs that target amyloid are shown to be of very little benefit to someone with the disease.

This should show anyone who still believes in Big Pharma that a "cure" for this disease will not be brought forth by any drug company.  They are invested in chasing a repeatedly failed theory that amyloid plaques are the cause.  When they change their target then they'll have a prayer of coming up with something effective.  Until then, they're just stealing from people.  This includes the people who came up with Namenda and Exelon.  Worthless.
