It has been years since I posted on this site. However, I still see some familiar names. My dad died of Alzheimers in Sept 2018. I spent a few of the most difficult years of my life on this site, daily. At the time my sisters and I always noticed there were "angels in our path" guiding us on the difficult journey. We also made a conscious effort to provide "space for grace" (patience, understanding) toward each other. It's such a difficult path. Recently, by chance, I ran into an old friend from my childhood. Her mom has Alzheimers. She is facing similar difficulties with the long term care insurance...same company. It felt like divine intervention. God, connecting me with this old friend so I can offer some sense of help/support during a difficult time. It's my turn to be an angel in her path. I hope I can help. Sending prayers for peace and strength to all of you that are on this very difficult journey.

Hi, I'm new to this forum as well and when I can stop crying I will share.  My brother and I have just started this journey and we feel so lost!  God does send his angels!!!!  Thank you so very much for your words.
