DH is having some challenges with getting dressed especially with buttons, belts, underwear. Does anyone have suggestions where to buy clothing for easier self dressing. He is in the early stages of moderate stage of Alzheimers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, there have been other threads on this topic so you might find more if you do a search. I seem to remember a website/cataglogue called Buck and buck. Someone else will chime in I'm sure.....0

I have continued to shop at shops I always shop at. I just have changed to finding pants with elastic waist bands, more pull on t-shirt types of tops..... anything to avoid buttons and zippers.0

I switched to elastic waist sweats/joggers and T-shirts or sweatshirts that are pulled over the head. I would expect to still see things put on backward or 2 legs in one of the pant legs, which will still require your intervention, but it will be much easier to dress him.
If your DH was always a snappy dresser it will take some getting used to for sure, but eventually you'll just be grateful to get them to change clothes and that the clothes are clean.0 -
I have purchased a number of items for my wife at "Buck & Buck". You can find them on the internet. The quality is quite good and the cost is reasonable. They have a variety of "adaptive clothing" items with elastic or velcro closures. Rick0
