Jo C. Hello from SuperWoman!
Time has marched, ran, and flown by at warp speed! Its been a long while since I have been able to drop in and say hi. Yet my thoughts have turned to you so often, Johanna.
Your words brought peace and hope into my life at a convergence of my mother in laws alzheimers, my sons autism, bi-polar and schizophrenia, and my sudden breast cancer diagnosis. I've never forgotten your gentle wisdom, and our written conversations that I read, and re-read, and clung too, on so many dark, late nights. Thank you so much, Johanna.
Now, husband and I live a gentle, quiet life, grateful to have these years together. Breast cancer remains in remission, and we are cognizant of the precious gift of time together. (We didnt even mind being in lockdown last year, LOL)
Through a series of one month driving vacations, Husband and I were blessed to be able to travel to every one of the lower 48 states. We dont have any regrets, but we have a ton of joyous memories! We talk of our trips all the time. Oh, how we are thankful Covid wasnt around in those years.
Please know, you are tightly held in my thoughts.
With love,
SuperWoman

Thank you, Iris. Should I come in and bump my post up daily-- so that it doesnt become too buried?
Warm Regards,

Sure, do that. At the same time, I will be on guard for when Jo C returns in order to alert her of your visit. I don't know how long she will be away.

Omigoodness; hello SuperWoman! It has indeed been a long time. It is good to "hear your "voice" again.
Thank you for your sweet and thoughtful kindness in writing; it is deeply appreciated and very touching. I am delighted to hear how well you and your husband are doing - truly a blessing!
It has been such a long time since we were in touch, that I no longer have copies of what was written; so it is both heartwarming and touching to know that a difference, no matter how small it may have seemed at the time, was able to be comforting and supportive.
You had so many more challenges to live through and deal with than most of us, but you never lost a step; you kept putting one foot in front ot the other and working those challenges as best you could. It is especially good to hear of your remission; that is wonderful! You are truly a fine and uplifiting example to us all.
Your trips with your husband certainly sounds awesome and I can hear the joy of it all through your writing; ; Those memories are golden.
Again, thank you from my heart to yours for your thoughtfulness in writing. I am sending warmest of thoughts your way; may the blessings continue and may many more joyous memories be made. You have made a difference for me and my day is lighter and brighter because of your kind outreach. I will be thinking of you and relishing the news of how much your life has changed and has brought such happiness for you and your dear husband.
J.

(((Hug))) Thank you, Dear Friend.
May comfort, hope and encouragement that you bring to those on this site, be multiplied back to you in times of distress. And, may the hours you've spent thinking about and preparing their posts to meet their needs--be gifted back to you--through time with family or close friends that blankets you in love and sweet surprises.
With Love,
SuperWoman
