Knock on wood

My husband has been almost like his old self. We haven’t had any Argie bargy since I have taken to shutting the A/C at night. It has been warm but I will take peace any day over strife.
He thanks me now for making his dinner and anything else I do for him.

It could be due to the fact I had to go for various medical procedures and he is worried I won’t come back. He is quite fearful I will leave. I reassure him that I won’t, but he forgets. I am hoping the calm will stay but do know better. It’s like his old lovely personality is back.

What a terrific turnabout; good for  you and also for him.   You always manage to rise to the challenges, very creative and a blessing to your dear husband.

Thanks Jo and Ed, much appreciated. He is ok today, I took him shopping for food, he loves that. I even bought him his little chocolate bars, which he told the cashier were for me.
