My sister's husband Mom is the PWD. They were living in her house to take care of her. After the came tree came through the roof they moved her to their own house and she hasn't been able to settle down. Sister says she is pacing. Do you think it is the new enviroment or that she knows something bad happened? How long may it take before she settles in?

My thought would be both. I suggest not having the TV on or to discuss Henri in the house.

If a tree fell on my house and I was living somewhere else with all my possessions being rained on at what used to be home, I'd be pacing too.  "settling in" might take a while.

I am with midSTUCKdle on this. One night, during a rain storm, our neighbor's tree fell on our roof. As a result, our kitchen flooded. We didn't have to leave our home, but it was unsettling.
