A snuggly dog for LO in OKC, OK

My name is Kobe. I am great with LO who have dementia. I am a snuggly, stay by your side but not get in your way, little dog. My dog pal of the past 12 years has a cancerous tumor that has made him out of sorts. My family took me with them to visit  a friend, in Texas, with cancer. I loved being able to sniff around the house without fear of Grouchy Big Dog and cuddling with the house folk was swell. In fact, they asked  my family if they could keep me since I brought great comfort. Unfortunately, the cancer patient friend spends a lot of time going to the ER. Having to worry about leaving me at home for days wouldn't have been good for them or me.  But it did get my family to thinking....that perhaps I would be happier in a home where I could sniff around freely and stay by the side of a LO with dementia or Alzheimers. If the new family lived close by in OKC I could go back to my original family whenever needed. They just want me to be happy and would love to bring some comfort to a household with a LO experiencing dementia or Alzheimers.

The very nice lady who responded has stairs which aren't great for me if it is more than 4 steps, since my near vision isn't that great. I can still fetch a ball  as long as it is moving but navigating around a flight of stairs isn't my cup of tea anymore. Still looking for a home to bring joy and comfort.
