Sudden Decline?

So in the last 24 hours we've seen rapid changes.  LO fell yesterday afternoon but didn't hit her head or break anything.  She landed on her bottom and then slumped onto her left side.

Now today she's more confused than normal, super congested and her balance is really off.  I even had to feed her (which I've never had to do before) and she only ate about four or five bites before telling me she was full.

Any advice as to what we should do?

I would not rule out a stroke and seek medical care.

jfk has got good advice, Norma. Did you get her to a doctor yet? It may be just dementia zooming ahead due to the shock of her fall, but still a good idea to rule out bigger issues.

I would seek medical attention immediately. It sounds like something changed. Could be UTI or other infection, virus, stroke, any number of things. Best to have her evaluated by a doctor.

Spent four hours in the ER last night.  Did CT Scan, blood work and tested for UTI.  Nothing was found and a stroke was also ruled out.

I'm assuming it was just the zoomies from her fall.

    Thanks everyone.
