Interesting idea for ID substitute

There was an article in a paper in my state about an inventor who created medical ID bracelets that have a QR code on it. It made me wonder about expanding on that concept for a PWD. Not a substitute for supervision but I know many people come here looking for temporary solutions. For those of you not familiar with these, it's kind of a bar code type thing you can print from a computer. Anyone with a smart phone can then scan the code and and it automatically takes them to the app or website associated with the code. I'm not super technologically inclined but I believe you can create them easily online and it could link to a google document or something basic that says that they have dementia, who to call in an emergency, whether they use insulin etc. Unlike a medical ID bracelet that PWD often take off or refuse to wear, families would have endless copies of the code and it could be pinned on multiple places like the back of shirts, hats, purses, shoes, dog leash etc. I would think if it were in a few places it would be noticeable enough that someone trying to help them would notice. And first responders would probably be looking for some type of ID. Maybe could be useful for someone?
