great day yesterday
Our anniversary was yesterday. He remembered. We live in MA so we decided to take the train into Boston to go to our favorite restaurant in the North End. Haven't been there in years. I was nervous to take the train and walk from station to the restaurant. That went fairly well but the walk back was a little more challenging. Not sure why but he would stop walking and turn to go a different way. But we did it.
I was nervous about the restaurant. He did great. It was almost like old times except not much talking. But to be fair, it was noisy.
All in all it was a great day, one I will treasure forever!

So glad to hear this wonderful news. As our dr. said...do what you can do! He was our advocate to head to a sibling reunion from CA to Marquette, Michigan...even though it was challenging to do all this traveling it was worth it! Maybe no more traveling now.

caberr, Happy Anniversary! Your post brought back many memories for me. We also used to take the train into Boston to dine in the North End, Chinatown or just walk the Commons/Public Gardens. I miss those days, Thank you for sharing.0
