My Father in Law was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and has been exhibiting more aggressive behaviors. We are finding that most facilities are not willing to accept him and home care with hospice support is not enough. Welcome any/all recommendations on how to locate a facility in the Myrtle Beach/Little River, SC area that could help. Thank you!

My husband also had LBD. Now is when you need your team. Your Dr may well do a med change/and or refer you to a geriatric phyciatrist. In addition you are going to have to be on top of your non-medical care game until you can find placement and they too will have to have training for LBD care.0
