Zoom Memorial Service
Hi friends.
As some of you may remember, I lost my mom on her 87th birthday on August 1, 2021. While I know that you don’t know me personally or my mom, I would like to extend an invitation to any who might be interested, in joining us for my mom’s Zoom Memorial on this Sat. Oct. 16, 2021. I know that some of you may soon be contemplating the planning of your loved one’s service (in times of Covid) and may want to consider this type of memorial (online).
If you have any interest in watching to see how we put our service together, please feel free to message me from this site and I will be happy to send you an invitation. It is necessary to have the zoom application installed on your device before accessing the service. If you need help, I can walk you through that as well.
Take care everyone.
Sandy

So sorry for the loss of your mom, Sjodry, but what a wonderful invitation to extend to all of us! I have full day plans tomorrow, but I want to thank you for your generosity in making us feel welcomed during your time of transition.
I hope your mom is kicking up some non-dementia heels already on her next adventure, and peace to you for tomorrow.

Thanks so much Lickety!
It should be very unique. My mom was a professional piano player. Many years ago I urged her to record a cd playing her music for us. So she surprised us one year and rented a music studio in Nashville. She played several songs and spoke in between all of the songs. My talented techy daughter was able to make a slideshow video with a verbal greeting from my mom, 4 of her songs while the images scroll..we will have 4 brief speakers approx. 3 mins. each. A duet by my daughter and her friend from college and then a verbal goodbye from my mom. Very unique..like my precious mama! I will be recording it..so if anyone has an interest..I am happy to share.
Zoom may be one of the best things to come from Covid..particularly where Memorial services are concerned.
Lickety, will be reading about your fun adventures in the days ahead.
Take care.
Sandy

This was a very kind offer from you since some on the message boards may not be familiar with Zoom services.
It sounds so lovely and planned, I hope all who attended were uplifted by remembering how your Mom impacted their lives.
