Virtue for both MEN AND WOMEN
*
Proverbs 31:15 New King James Version
*
“She also rises while it is yet night…”
*
Joyce Meyer, in her book THE CONFIDENT WOMAN suggests we would do well to get up early, pray, and make a plan for the day. She writes, "This is so important because I don’t believe we should be vague and thoughtless, merely getting up daily and waiting to see what happens. People who have this mentality rarely ever accomplish anything, they are usually frustrated and unfulfilled. Have a plan and work your plan. Be disciplined to your plan unless God shows you something else He wants you to do. Our plan does not need to become law, but we should have direction and purpose each day of our lives.”
*
me: “But I have too many distractions to follow a plan,” we might say. Maybe we can plan for these distractions too, especially those that involve another person’s care. We can choose to deal with them in a loving, patient way, only going back to our original plan when time allows.

Thank you for your wonderful post. My husband has just been diagnosed with ES and it really has been a struggle for me to really accept this and what lies ahead for both of us. So your words of having a plan and somedays it will work and others not so much.. now I just have to find the resources and support to put it in place.0
