My mother gets up in the middle in the night and has fallen several times. Any suggestions short of me sleeping in her room and keep watch. Which is where I am going next.

Talk to her doctor about something so she will sleep through the night. Are you HCP?0

Health care proxy. Can u make medical decisions for her.
It sounds like she could use a geriatric psychiatrist but you may need to get a referral through the PCP. What kind of doctor do you have an appointment with? Does she have a diagnosis?

Beth would a bed alarm be too disruptive? That’s what a hospital would use. I’m sure you can find other threads on this topic and examples online0

During my brief stay with my mother after my father’s death, I borrowed a video baby monitor. I don’t know if this would be a good long term solution, but just throwing out that idea.0
