    This s a very odd piece of work.  I'm not saying its wrong it just odd

    It is entirely about dementia care  models, but it  has no definition of a dementia care model
    Its full of statements like

    The true opportunity here is to focus on the
    delivery of value that prioritizes achievement
    and improvement of health outcomes that
    are meaningful for those we serve

    What does that mean in DW's case
    No "improvement" is possible  It would be a miracle.

    Crushed ....Agreed..... For 10 years  I watched a vibrant,  successful lady die a little bit everyday .

    We tried every treatment up to and including two clinical trials ..

    Did Aricept and Memantine slow the progress ??? I'd like to think so, but we'll never know.. EOAD moves at a fast pace. My DW declined rapidly trough the early stages ..All the therapy/ meds  available may  possibly improve quality of life ...or not ??

    One thing is for sure "ground lost is never regained "

    I miss her everyday

    We all benefit from this kind of work. While there are many "care plans" floating around it will be a big boost to have an "ideal base" that can be built on. Care can always improve and as it does so will the lives of our loved ones.

DW= Dear Wife, Darling Wife
LO = Loved One
