me:  Before we begin our workday, I find is the best time to seek the Lord in prayer. It is important to worship Him and praise Him and thank Him for who He is and all He has done for you and me. We can talk to Him like we talk to a friend, asking Him for wisdom, guidance, and inner strength. He loves to hear from us.  He is faithful!

It used to bother me that while others can wake up and have some quiet time with our Lord, I wake up usually in a kind of fog, and I tend to be out of sorts until I have had my breakfast and a cup of coffee. I even set out things at night, before bed, so that i will have to do a minimum of thinking in the morning.

Now, I just accept that I am not a morning person, and I spend my quiet time in the evening, usually right here in front of my computer monitor, because that is where I have my prayer list ( when I need it, which I don't as often as I used to ! )

I find that talking about my day helps me to put it all in perspective, and it is then - right then - that I feel the comfort I need to go to sleep.

I wonder if part of this stems from the many times Barbara and I would lie in the bed and have a short prayer before going to sleep... maybe so.

Thanks for your continual efforts to lift us up with God's Word, sis. It's greatly appreciated.

When I start my day with "Him", it's always a much better day emotionally. Chrisp, I can totally relate to what you are saying too.
