How to get into bed?

Hi there,

Where can I get some information on how to teach mom get into bed.

She is weak after the stroke, but she can sit up and pull herself up with the help of bed rail.

But she does not know how to lie back to the bed. Anyone know how?

Have you spoken with the physical therapists who worked with your Mom after her stroke?  They would be your best resource.

I softly place my hands on my mother’s shoulders and point her in the position to lie back. My mom now needs some help lifting her legs into bed and I have to straighten her out. 

Little steps toward complete assistance with everything all the time. So sad.
