Merry Christmas(4)
It’s Christmas again; the end of another year. I know this year has been rough for a lot of us on this forum, me included. Even so, I still want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and wish God‘s best blessings on each of you as you continue caring for your loved one.

Well said, Brenda. Merry Christmas everyone, however circumstances dictate you spend it. For me, it will be the first in 53 years without DH at home, but he’s in my heart. Peace.0

Merry Christmas to all of you. Here, it’s finished, we are back home. It was a special Christmas. Certainly the last one my partner will share with his (mine in fact) family. His family is unable to gather . I was the last one who manage to gather the parents, brothers and sister 8 years ago.
Toilets were quite difficult to manage but globally everything went well.
Our covid tests were negative, Suitcases are now in the basement, documents prepared and the taxi is booked. We leave in 10 hours now.

Merry Christmas to all my fellow caregivers here. Although it wasn't merry and my husband didn't know it was Christmas. I made all his favorites for dinner, my gift to him. His Alzheimer's is progressing rapidly. It helps to read your posts and know I'm not alone. This is such a hard journey.0
