Problems, but not serious problems

I have read here about serious problems. What's driving me berserk right now is a not-serious problem: my spouse has the sense of humor of a preadolescent. If I hear one more inane joke or tongue-lolling sex joke I am going to lose it! And, of course, he doesn't get my humor either.

Those non-serious problems can be as challenging as serious one when they are repeated ad nauseam.

My hubby has no sense of humor most of the time or a completely juvenile one depending on where he is mentally on any given day.

To most people that might seem insignificant, but if it drives you nuts, it drives you nuts. But I don't think there's much you can do about it except to learn how to live with. That might mean changing how you think about it. Easier said than done.

It could be upon occasion, like that old saw about "Chinese Water Torture,"  drip . . .drip . . .. drip . . . drip . . . drop after drop after drop on one's head, ad infinitum . . .

At times, it made me feel as though the top of my head would blow off with all the nuts, bolts and springs flying out leaving only the cuckoo . . . .

    Sigh.

The good news is, we have new catastrophic problems this weekend, so there's actually something going on that I can actually do something productive to cope with.
