My advice for those of you placing a LO, put them on hospice before placement! Hospice will be a second set of eyes on how well your LO is being treated. Especially if they are on Medicaid. Also, get to know your local ombudsman. Yet another set of eyes!

    I guess that could only be an option if the LO would qualify for hospice.  

    I’m wondering why getting hospice support after placement would not also be an option, again IF they qualify.
