Need a (innocent) female friend

My wife of 20 years who I love has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s two years ago.

I love her

Sex doesn’t exist really And Alzheimer’s is stealing her away slowly. Ki need to talk to a female that gets it. Innocent. Just thru internet to talk and sort things out before it gets really bad

Where do I go? What do I do?

Well at least you've found this forum, perhaps that will help somewhat; it may not be the personal connection you're seeking, but spouse caretakers here do "get it."  Have you searched for Alzheimer's support groups local to you?  Online or in person?

My advice is to find a therapist and make some hard decisions

about how you define marriage. I'm totally non judgmental but

I believe in being honest with yourself.

There came a day when the woman I loved and had married no

longer had any idea who or what I was.  That was almost 4 years ago.

From then on my sadness and life path are my own.  She is no longer a direct part of it.
