Mom's psychiatrist gives you all good marks!

Just wanted to share something funny from a conversation with mom's psychiatrist yesterday.  We were talking about meds and I kept saying things like "the folks on the ALZ boards said..." and "I know lots of the LOs on the boards have success with..." and she said "Well, they must know what they are talking about because that's what I was going to suggest next!" So keep up the good work ya'll, my mom's doctor thinks you're doing a good job!

(Smiley)…I just finished a short free course for dementia caregivers, by my local Alzheimer’s Association. I learned a lot, but honestly, I think at least 80 percent of what was presented there, were things I’d already learned from here. But so many caregivers there were not familiar with this resource, which is a shame. Like we all say so much, you don’t really understand until you’ve been there.

    Agreeing with Drina -

"Hey, this works for us, but this one didn't"  "This works, but watch side effects"  "This is great for a while, then kind'a stops"

Now.  if there was just an easier way to get PWD to take them without so much fuss...

The farm store sells an air rifle that shoots darts, for the purpose of injecting meds into large animals.  Just saying
