Veteran Directed Care Program

Has anyone used this program or is familiar with it?:

My sister currently attends Adult Day Care 5 days a week paid for by the VA Health Care system, but there are some problems right now with the VA end of it and I'm concerned she might lose that benefit.  I'm wondering if this program would be better.

Hi there! I haven't personally applied for this program for my mom but I did apply for Aid and Attendance about 6 months ago when I was informed that the wait for approval will be WELL over a year.  Apparently the normal processing time was 9 months but since the pandemic they can't tell you how long it will take to process new applications.  Now if she is already receiving some benefits this might be different but I'm not sure.
