Lost my mom

My mom died a month ago. She was being cared for by hospice at her MC community. She died peacefully and painlessly, which is the best I could have hoped for. The last 6 years of my mom being diagnosed with Alzheimers/dementia have been the hardest years of my life. I am grateful for the support and advice I received through this forum. It is hard to know what to do, what to expect, and to be confident that the decisions you've made for your LO are the right ones. I wish all the best for all of you family members and caregivers that are still going through this.

ADH77 I am very sorry for your loss and I am thinking warm healing thoughts for you. Hospice was a godsend for us, we couldn't have done this without their kind guidance and support and I am hopeful this was your experience as well.

What a long journey it has been for you both, know in your heart you did right by her.
