Sippy cup

DW shares her hot chocolate with dog so I got her a new cup. Showed her how to use it but she closes opening when taking a drink. I'll crazy glue it open.  I did ask my daughter-in-law if she would come in twice a week for a half a day so I can get a break. Start that when snow finally leaves. She already helps out when I go out of town.      I've been reading a lot of the topics and they sure help, I'm not alone in this caretaker stuff.  Thanks All  Hoot619

Hi Hoot - welcome to 'here'.    yes, very helpful place to be.  some very wise folks and sound advice.   and 'not alone' is good.

Sounds like a good plan with the cup.  Got MIL a screw-on lid cup with the straw, that works for us... for now, anyway.  (interesting, at dinner table she can use a regular glass. in the living room, not so much)  Glad you have a bit of help.

I will remove the slide thing probably easier that way any way . She is in a good mood right now. Doesn't last too long.   I wish she could handle her body functions but years ago I worked in a mental hospital hospital. It's a lot easier without the hangovers now. Ha ha

New cup is working fine but saw her tongue out when trying to take a drink this morning. She figured it by herself. she isn't in a very good mood today.
