Lesson to be learned: Document everything
In the discussion with caseworker, Jane described the conversations she had with Ann about driving, about medical appointments, and about finances. Jane has a sharp mind and an excellent memory, but the caseworker's recommendation was to document everything, with dates and as much detail as possible. Video records are excellent. She said when an agreement is reached on something, write it up and have Ann sign it. Photograph the document in case it gets torn up or lost.
Document everything, and that way it isn't just your word against the PWD.
We haven't been doing this, but we certainly will now.

Hi BakedAlaska - good to know.
I do see where a lot of folks do 'journal' through a lot of the stages. To write more down probably not a bad idea for other reasons as well. ie: your own reference, for doc so you don't forget to tell them something important, insurance, and unfortunately, maybe even to protect yourself - from allegations from even scammers.
