Showering(5)

I am preparing for the future so need to purchase a showerhead.  Can anyone recommend a good one or at least what to look for when purchasing?

I just have a cheap detachable one that you can hold, but when I replace it I am going to get one that I can push a button and turn it off at the handle.

I’m sure there are even better suggestions out there!

We already had a detachable shower head, but I replaced the relatively short hose with one that is 11.5 feet long.

Nyla, your comment made me laugh with the memory of when my sister could not get my mom in the actual shower, but due to the long hose she just showered her on the bathroom floor! The place was a disaster but Mom was clean and happier than she had been in a while.

I think any showerhead you choose will be a big help in the war on personal hygiene, Forever.

Nothing expensive, but like others said, a detachable shower head with relatively long hose. The feature I liked best about the one I used is that you could adjust the water pressure from the shower head. Very helpful.

My FIL likes to hold the shower head himself, but he manages to shower everyone but himself, lol. If we replace ours, we may keep the old one so he has something to hold! We also have the issue that he has a BM in the shower every time. UGH. So nasty. We started putting a bucket under his shower chair.

I should buy stock in Clorox.
