Forum itself

I was noticing that I have to log in each time I come back to the site, did a search and see that this has been an issue for a few years.

Quick view of "View Source" and it appears that this appears to be a custom forum / job.
Running on .NET (C# Background ?)

If so, I've got a few years of C# .NET coding experience, and might be able to help on the backend support for this site.

The Remember me should be simple enough to add via cookie settings so users don't have to re-log in each time they visit.

Robert refining the search results with newest first would awesome. I am wondering if I don't see that option cause I use my cell?

    What one prefers, another doesn’t.

My DH is still able to use the computer (for game playing mostly). I don’t want him reading my posts on the site. If the site went to log in automatically, I would have to log out each time.

Most browsers today allow you to save your log in passwords, so if you do that, it’s only an extra click.

The cell phone definitely displays different than a tablet or computer.  If the site says I’m still logged in when I come back, I go ahead and log out and back in again each visit.  Too many times I apparently wasn’t really logged in even though it appeared that I was and I lose a post or cannot navigate. My password is saved on my devices so it’s not a problem to quickly logout and login and is definitely not as annoying as thinking I was logged in when I’m not. In the scheme of things this small step isn’t a bother to me.
