Daycare and poo corner

Life is going along here at poo corner. I have not got the commode yet, so am still cleaning poo out of the sink. I have the routine down pretty well, checking the drain hole for a deposit, if there is one, on go the blue gloves, out comes the Clorox and we are off to the races.
My husband is going downhill, his new thing is biting his hand and making growling screaming sounds. He also tells he is going to bed every few minutes, a bulletin I can do without.
The good part is I got him into daycare. A bus picks him up and I have four and a half hours of alone time. At first I felt disoriented, I missed him, but then started to enjoy being able to work without interruption.
He came home because he had pooed his pants, they explained this to me as they dropped him off. I told them not to worry, I would clean him up. Little did they know, that they were dealing with a poo expert. Got him upstairs, washed his bum, got him fresh underwear and he was ready for his dinner at 4 pm. The daycare tires him out and that is a good thing.
I have been watching Teepa Snow videos, wow, she is great. I do the deep breathing exercises and my stress level is much lower. I honestly didn’t realize I was holding my breath in and making things worse.

Congrats on getting him to daycare! How nice to be home alone!

I know you’ve tried many things with the sink. I can’t remember if you’ve tried lining the sink with the blue pads. Then you could just wrap up the blue pads with the poo in them and put them in the trash.

I know what you mean about holding your breath. I find myself holding my breath and pressing my tongue up against the top of my mouth - maybe to keep from saying things I shouldn’t? First I’ll feel the headache coming on and then I check to see and sure enough, I’m pressing my tongue up against the roof of my mouth. And the jaw is clenched. I do an online yoga class once a week so I’m reminded to breathe at least once a week!

Sorry to hear about the progression. Even though we know it’s coming, it’s hard with every new  instance.

Thanks Buggs for the reminder to breathe, for a while I was getting good but like a lot of things I regress. I have watch many of Teepa Snow videos. Last night I was thinking I need to reread the care giver book I got to practice and relearn. It's good to hear you getting a little break Lord knows you need it.

Buggs, that daycare is a big win for you. I'm happy you got it. Yes, Teepa's videos are great. She knows how to hold your attention.
