                                  My memory is leaving me

             My memory is leaving me and I feel so very sad

             I wonder if my life was good or maybe it was bad

             Did I have a girl who loved me so and also did I love her?

             I wish and pray that someday I could easily remember

             My memory is leaving me and I don't know what to do 

             I think my only hope in life is getting help from you

             My memory is leaving me and the feeling is a shame

             I see a girl and I see a boy but can't remember their names

             Did I have a child who made me smile in the most amazing way?        

             One who made me laugh and made me proud every single day

             My memory is leaving me and I don't know what to do

             I think my only hope in life is getting help from you

            

             My memory is leaving me no matter how much I try

             I find myself sinking away and all I do is cry

             I try so hard to be so brave but scared is what I feel

             The thought of darkness as my mind goes blank is so very real

            My memory is leaving me and I don't know what to do
