Having to vent

Dh and I have been taking care of his mother the last 3 out of 5 years since she has been diagnosed. We have been trying to keep her on a routine. Our world was turned upside down on Christmas day of 2021. We lost dh sister on Christmas day due covid. We were all living on same property to have some help with mil. Since sil death we had to move.  Since the move mil has gone down hill a bit. First started out sitting in her room for hours then saying things like she felt like we didn't want her around.  Now it is when we remind her to go to the bathroom she thinks that we tell her to take a shower.  No matter what time of the day it is. We have no family support system to speak of. The plus note is that she does have a great pcp that has her come in every 3 months for her alzheimers. At times we just feel stressed from time to time but try not get frustrated.

Sammey I am so sorry for your losses, your sister in law, and the move which sounds like you didn't want. Vent away, it sounds like you are doing all you can under difficult circumstances. Glad she's got a good Pcp at least.

Yes it was a move we didn't want but trying to make the best of the situation we were dealt with. Thanks for words of encouragement.  Just gets frustrating at times.
