Who knows about a good mp3 music player?
I have decided to not take a TV up to my wife's room because I think it might cause her to stay in her room. If she wants to watch TV, there is a community room she can go to, and mingle with other people.
What I'd really like to find is some type of mp3 player that has only one or two buttons to activate it or shut it off. I have 2 usb sticks with a lot of music she likes, so if the player has a usb port that would be just fine, but not necessary. Does anyone know about a player that is super easy to use? She can't use a remote, so it needs to be pretty simple.

Check out the "simpl music player". I got one for my wife a while ago and I posted about it then. They are intended for people with dementia. Look on eBay for one, there are a few on there now. I got mine for about 10 bucks plus shipping. There's no way I'd pay full price for a new one. It uses mp3 files, is very easy to use and pretty much fool proof. The only thing they can do is turn it on/off. You set the volume. About the only thing they can do wrong is to unplug the power cord.0

Ed,
I got this one for my DH (I think this is what Falcon is referring to). I uploaded all his favorite songs and all he has to do is lift the top lid. He feels like he is at Woodstock and enjoys the music for hours. Wish I knew how to make the link live.

Getting on the site pretty late today. Thanks to both of you for the replies. Falcon, I remember seeing the thread before, but couldn't remember who had it, or the name of the product. Here's a hot link if anyone is interested. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095XD8VQJ/ref=twister_B096WJ5MXL?_encoding=UTF8&th=10

This is the one we used for my FIL - he could work it well into stage 7:

Thank you, May. I have looked at that one too. I have another question about these that I'll start a new thread on, so it will likely be seen.0
