Night time problems

My father starts yelling, shouting, talking shortly after he goes to bed EVERY night. He is a different person once he goes to bed. I talk to him when he starts to get loud but it doesn't help. He is another person after he goes to bed. Talks in a different halting voice, makes no sense, says YEAH, YEAH, YEAH alot. Gets very loud, starts swearing None of the prescription drugs have done anything- Seroquel, Tradazone. My father is a small guy 5' 5" 115lbs so doctor doesn't want to give him any strong dose of drugs. I don't want him to be a zombie all day with drugs either. Melatonin, CBD gummies have done nothing. about 4 or 5 am everyday he starts getting up to go to the bathroom about every 10 minutes. ( Rarely actually goes- Enlarged prostrate)  He cannot walk at all without his walker and is a very high fall risk so I have to get up everytime he gets up.Most of the time he has no idea where the bathroom is or how to use it. After the 3rd or 4th time of getting up for nothing my patience is gone. I am around all day to help him do everything but not sleeping hardly at all is getting to me. He gets to nap alot during the day but I can't. How do you keep him busy during the day so he sleeps at night? His vision is poor so reading is out. His hearing is also very bad even with his hearing aid. He no longer will watch TV at all.- Can't seem to concentrate on it at all anymore. He doesn't talk much ( except to complain- which is also getting to me. I'm at my witts end as what to do,

Does anyone have any home natural. remedies to help him sleep quietly that won't hurt him in other ways? What can he do to keep busy during the day with all his limitations? How do you keep him from napping during the day?

DH and I went through the exact same time with my FIL at night after he came home from the hospital after surgery - yelling, the repetitive word (for us it was ha, ha, ha, ha), and cussing, all night long. Then sleeping during the day.

The only thing that worked for us was weaning him off all meds and starting over. When he was off the other meds, the melatonin worked. I’m not sure which meds were the culprit, but I know the Flomax/Tamulosin (for prostate) was one of the worst. He also came of Namzaric, Ativan, Lithium, Gabapentin, Lexapro, and Risperdone.

He’s back on Risperdone and a different prostate med now, having some side effects, but no more hollering at night, thankfully.

As far as TV goes… what was his career, interests in life, hobbies etc…? Planes, trains, automobiles… animals, cooking, gardening, music/musicians…?  YouTube has anything and everything.  His favorite musicians music, mechanics working on a car, flight show, trains, horses running through fields…anything you can find that he might find interesting is there.  The smart TV is de bomb for us as she watches TV all day.  It’s monotonous, to say the least, but I’m changing it up all the time.

The burden of keeping mom interested is difficult for me some days, enough I shed tears from that alone.  I’m so sorry for these challenges for you and yours.
