Home. That feeling of just wanting to be home, to feel loved, to feel safe. It’s gone now. I never know what will be awaiting me when I return from work. Just another thing this horrible disease has erased.

    Before we went 24/7 I can't tell you how many times I took the long way home. Some times circling the block a few times. Just preparing for what was waiting for me.

    I have to say that when returning home I wonder what fresh hell awaits me. So yes, I walk slower, savour my songs on my phone. Then, I see him on the porch waiting, then I paste a huge smile on my face. Then I go in the house, no poo in the sink, great, it’s ok.
